Plant Nanny vs HiCoffee

These apps address different reasons to track drinks. A water habit and an evening caffeine estimate are not interchangeable outcomes.

By WaterChamp, the maker of one of the apps compared. Sources checked 8 September 2026. This comparison uses published features and a small sample of user reviews; we have not performed a new hands-on test. Sources and scope.

What to check before deciding

Start with the question you need answered. If you want both tasks, compare the effort of maintaining two logs with a combined tracker; neither app should be scored poorly for specializing in its own task.

Read the dated review examples and access notes for Plant Nanny and HiCoffee. They help identify questions to test, rather than establish a universal winner.

When WaterChamp is another option

Consider WaterChamp if you want water, caffeine and alcohol in one log, with an estimated caffeine curve and a last-coffee reminder. It is available on iPhone and Android and includes 102 selectable drinks. You can try the model in the caffeine calculator.

WaterChamp has no Apple Watch app or LUCY cap integration. Its widgets open the phone’s drink logger for confirmation. Some forecasts and analysis require Pro. Its estimates are not measurements of hydration, blood alcohol or sleep quality.
