Waterllama vs WaterMinder

The main choice is motivation versus logging workflow. Both have Apple Watch support; neither wins simply because it has more checkmarks.

What to check before deciding

On iPhone, try recording your usual cup and correcting it in each app. If you will use a Watch, check that the same entry and total appear on both devices. The review notes below identify why that is worth testing.

When WaterChamp is another option

Consider WaterChamp if you want water, caffeine and alcohol in one log, with an estimated caffeine curve and a last-coffee reminder. It is available on iPhone and Android and includes 102 selectable drinks. You can try the model in the caffeine calculator.

WaterChamp has no Apple Watch app or LUCY cap integration. Its widgets open the phone’s drink logger for confirmation. Some forecasts and analysis require Pro. Its estimates are not measurements of hydration, blood alcohol or sleep quality.
