WaterMinder vs Water Tracker PRO

Both describe convenient repeat logging. Apple Watch requirements are a clearer separator than the word PRO in a product name.

By WaterChamp, the maker of one of the apps compared. Sources checked 8 September 2026. This comparison uses published features and a small sample of user reviews; we have not performed a new hands-on test. Sources and scope.

What to check before deciding

Use the same serving and reminder schedule during a trial. Check the current PRO layout yourself: an older review reports changes to scheduling, but that does not establish what is available now.

Read the dated review examples and access notes for WaterMinder and Water Tracker PRO. They help identify questions to test, rather than establish a universal winner.

When WaterChamp is another option

Consider WaterChamp if you want water, caffeine and alcohol in one log, with an estimated caffeine curve and a last-coffee reminder. It is available on iPhone and Android and includes 102 selectable drinks. You can try the model in the caffeine calculator.

WaterChamp has no Apple Watch app or LUCY cap integration. Its widgets open the phone’s drink logger for confirmation. Some forecasts and analysis require Pro. Its estimates are not measurements of hydration, blood alcohol or sleep quality.
