What to check before deciding
Both have Android listings, but Apple Health and Watch features do not carry over to Android. If Android health integration decides the purchase, ask about Health Connect rather than assuming it from an iOS checkmark.
Read the dated review examples and access notes for WaterMinder and Water Reminder. They help identify questions to test, rather than establish a universal winner.
When WaterChamp is another option
Consider WaterChamp if you want water, caffeine and alcohol in one log, with an estimated caffeine curve and a last-coffee reminder. It is available on iPhone and Android and includes 102 selectable drinks. You can try the model in the caffeine calculator.
WaterChamp has no Apple Watch app or LUCY cap integration. Its widgets open the phone’s drink logger for confirmation. Some forecasts and analysis require Pro. Its estimates are not measurements of hydration, blood alcohol or sleep quality.
